Today I'm not feeling well. Maybe I have the flu...The other day another inmate here was sick and they thought that he might have the swine flu.
It turns out he didn't, but because of that event, the Lieutenant came into our pod to say that there was no swine flu in our building.
At the time, we accepted that answer, but it turns out she lied.
I know she lied because in the downstairs pod, none of the trustees are allowed to come out of their pod and work like they do every day.
This is not something I was told, this is something I know because they came at 3 a.m. to come get me to do their job.
Another reason I know she lied is because all the deputies on the 2nd floor (where the trustee pods are) are wearing masks.
How are you going to sit there and tell me there is no threat when all the guards are wearing masks and the 2nd floor is quarantined?
