I've spent two years in prison relaying stories sent by letters to a blogger about my crimes, arrests, and life in four Florida prisons, the Pinellas County Jail, juvenile detention and drug rehab. I'm sending a message to others not to make the same mistakes I did.

On top of the world

When I was 18, my mom gave me a sportscar - a Mitsubishi 3000 GT. I then got a job as an overnight valet at a 5-star resort on the beach. Don't ask how I got the job - I just lucked out. It paid $9 an hour, plus tips - which were better than you'd think for working overnight.

I was on top of the world. I really liked having money in my pockets, but I could never have enough. So I noticed that when I was working, people would always ask if I could get weed and coke and I would tell them no.

I realized that I was missing out on a great opportunity, so one night I bought a large amount of marijuana just to see how much I could sell. To my surprise, by morning it was all gone.

After that, I started doing it all the time, but the money wasn't coming quick enough, so I started selling coke too.

Life was great, and I didn't have to worry about anyone telling on me 'cause I was selling drugs to everyone I worked with too!

I worked there for seven months before I got fired. I got too cocky and thought I was untouchable, so I cursed out my boss's boss.

How dumb could I be? (And I'm not just talking about getting fired...)
