I'm a little unsure how to take this post, especially because of places like the UAE where their muslim religion is a strong part of their governance; which means you can be hung for being homosexual. Not a high prison population but probably a very large graveyard!

ReplyDeleteI was kind of thinking the same thing as Michelle. Some of those countries hang people for stealing bread, so they probably wouldn't have high prison populations. However, I don't think the UK is one of them, so I'd be interested to know how they keep their number so low......
